Job Overview
This supervisory role supports the Integrated Services Department in managing staff cleaning patient areas, including isolation areas, across Stobhill Acute Care Hospital, Stobhill Mental Health (Forensic, Adolescent, Adult/Older Persons and Addictions Recovery Services), New Victoria Acute Care Hospital, West of Scotland Acute Care Hospital, and community locations in North and East Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. The team includes 360 staff, 3 ambulance stations, a decontamination unit, 12 health centres and 8 resource centres.
Hours
30 hours per week – Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday core hours 08:00‑16:00, with flexibility.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of manpower, conduct, attendance management, and staff development.
* Allocate staff resources across sites.
* Audit cleaning services and maintain compliance with national cleanliness standards.
* Input payroll information and plan staff training.
* Liaise with service users and department leads.
* Ensure compliance with reports, training requirements, and attend meetings as required.
* Carry out facilities tasks when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous domestic services supervisory experience – preferred and required to support the supervisory team as necessary.
* Driving licence essential for a multi‑site role.
* Experience in managing cleaning or facilities services in a healthcare setting (preferred).
