We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and talented Academy Performance Analyst to join our dynamic team on a casual basis.
In the role of Academy Performance Analyst you will be responsible for aiding the Youth/Foundation Development Phase players within the Academy. Working closely as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful applicant will support one of the YDP/FDP age group squads on a weekly basis, providing pre and post-match information for all fixtures and aid individual player development through the collation of relevant videos/data linked to the Academy’s playing, coaching and player development philosophies.
The successful applicant will receive a personal development plan, access to regular continued professional development and be part of the Academy’s Staff Development Programme.

What are we looking for and Role Requirements

Joining an established analysis team, they will work closely with this team and the wider multidisciplinary staff providing holistic player development.
The successful applicant will receive a personal staff development plan to support their own learning, have access to a range of formal CPD opportunities throughout the season.
Qualifications:
Essential
* BSc in sports related course
* Experience working in a professional sports setting
* Experience using HUDL / HUDL Studio and SportsCode
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
* Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
* Have excellent interpersonal skills
* Understand the need for flexible working hours.
* Be able to communicate effectively with all club staff members
* Be adaptable to work to the demands of the job and needs of the players
* Display a growth mindset towards self-improvement and personal development
* Be focused on individual player development within a team
* Live within a workable distance of the football club
* Be passionate about working with and developing young people
Desirable
* MSc in either Performance Analysis or a sports related course
* An understanding of data collection and the ability to present data in an efficient manner
* Experience working with younger people
