Technical Director - Fire Engineering
Senior role focused on leading fire engineering on multiple projects across the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
* Lead fire engineering design across diverse projects, from university buildings in Scotland to high‑rise residential towers in London.
* Conduct design reviews and liaise with WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
* Present fire safety designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
* Advise design team on safety improvements and regulatory compliance.
* Participate in client updates, team briefings and project meetings.
* Support professional registration through IFE and other professional organisations.
Qualifications
* BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
* Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
