Circa £450-£500 per day
An Edinburgh Financial Services/FinTech organisation is currently looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis. Supporting a large/complex programme of work, the primary focus of the roles will involve managing & optimising their cloud infrastructure in AWS and to be successful, previous knowledge & experience should include:
* Previous & proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer
* Experience within other FinTech / small-to-medium Financial Services organisations
* Deep experience with cloud platforms & technologies, specifically AWS (Ideally including AWS DevOps Engineer certification)
* Containerisation and Orchestration with K8s, EKS and Docker etc
* Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation
* As always, excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills with the ability to work as part of a project team and on own initiative

Our client works a hybrid-model with increasing days being spent in their Edinburgh Office so the ideal candidate will be available immediately/at short notice, locally based and able to commit to 1-2 days per week onsite.
