Job Description: Data Solution Architect – Migration Specialist
Experience: 10+ years in Data Architecture and Migration
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solution Architect with proven experience in designing and implementing data migration strategies. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring seamless transition of data across platforms while maintaining integrity, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Solution Design:
* Architect scalable and secure data solutions for migration projects.
* Define data models, integration patterns, and migration frameworks.
* Migration Strategy:
* Develop and execute migration plans for on-premise to cloud or cross-cloud environments.
* Ensure minimal downtime and data consistency during migration.
* Technical Leadership:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Provide guidance to development and data engineering teams.
* Performance & Compliance:
* Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
* Strong experience in data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
* Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data migration tools (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, etc.).
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
* Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse).
* Familiarity with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).
* Certifications in Azure/AWS/GCP Data Architect or related fields.
* Strong communication skills
* Experience of working across geographies.
