Job Title: Electronics Systems Engineer
Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight
Working Arrangements: Mon-Thurs on-site
Hourly Rate: £60 PAYE OR £81.05 Umbrella inside IR35
Duration: 6-months
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing support to the SDA regarding overall Radar System design.
2. Responsible for defining and capturing digital requirements from board level to sub-system level.
3. Provide digital techniques support to the SDA and techniques groups (RF, software, digits, mechanical, DO) at all stagers throughout the design life cycle.
4. Provide support to digital techniques team throughout the design process ensuring adherence to established design protocols.
5. Provide analysis of system architectures with a view to providing guidance on make/buy/COTS decisions.
6. Define test and integration plans from board to system level.
Skills & Qualifications:
7. Experience in digital electronics including FPGA development, high speed interfaces (such as serial FPDP, JESD204 etc), COTS hardware and PCB design.
8. Experience in sub-system and System integration and test.
9. Experience using AMD/Xilinx Vitis.
