Casualty Adjuster – North West (Home / Field Based)
We’re looking for an experienced Casualty Adjuster to join a well-established, high-quality claims management business as part of their growing Casualty Division.
You’ll handle a mix of fast track and multi-track liability claims including Employers’, Public, Products, TPPD, and CAR. This is a home-based role with regular field visits across the North West.
What you’ll be doing
1. Managing a caseload of around 80 files efficiently and proactively
2. Conducting thorough site investigations and preparing clear, detailed reports
3. Handling claims from cradle to grave, or on an investigation and report-only basis
4. Liaising with insurers, policyholders, witnesses, and experts
5. Assessing liability, controlling indemnity spend, and negotiating settlements
6. Providing sound technical advice and ensuring service standards are met
7. Supporting business development and maintaining strong relationships
What we’re looking for
8. Minimum 5 years’ experience in loss adjusting or claims handling within casualty
9. Cert CII and/or Cert CILA preferred
10. Strong understanding of Commercial Combined Liability and CAR policies
11. Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
12. Professional approach with a can-do attitude
13. Full, clean UK driving licence
