About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller with strong hands‑on experience using HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high‑precision components in a clean, well‑equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program, set and operate CNC milling machines
2. Use HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls confidently
3. Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
4. Read and interpret engineering drawings
5. Select tooling, set work offsets and run first‑offs
6. Perform in‑process inspection to maintain quality
7. Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
Requirements
8. Proven experience as a CNC Miller
9. Competent with HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill
10. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings
11. Good understanding of machining principles and tooling
12. Reliable and able to work independently
13. Must live within approx. 10–12 miles of LS20
Desirable
14. Experience with multi‑axis machining
15. CAD/CAM background
16. Experience in precision engineering (aerospace, motorsport, medical, etc.)
