About the role
1st Line IT Support Technician – Newbury – £26,900 to £29,920 + bonus.
Based in Newbury/Berkshire, our growth organisation is looking to add an IT Support Technician/Analyst to their established team. This office-based position offers a customer-centric environment where you will provide IT technical support across the group. Working within a Microsoft environment, you will use your IT and cyber security knowledge to resolve or escalate technical issues. Our client offers excellent culture, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first-line support via phone, email, and in-person.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
3. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
4. Manage user accounts and permissions on platforms like Active Directory and Office 365.
5. Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Experience in IT Support.
2. Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
3. Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
6. Driving license.
