Offer description

Are you a passionate e-commerce professional with a proven ability to optimise and grow brands on Amazon and other online marketplaces? We are seeking a results‑driven Strategist to manage a portfolio of our clients and maximise their success in the complex marketplace ecosystem.

This role goes beyond basic account management; you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance product visibility through Amazon SEO, drive sales via Amazon Advertising (PPC), optimise conversion rates with engaging content and compelling product listings, brief the design team to create high‑converting listing imagery, and ensure smooth operations through effective inventory management and fulfilment.

A crucial aspect of your role will be building and nurturing strong, long‑term relationships with your portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within the agency. You will be responsible for deeply understanding their business goals and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to drive their growth, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. This involves providing data‑driven insights to inform their marketplace strategy, communicating effectively and transparently, and championing their needs across internal teams to ensure we deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations.

Your Role

As an Account Strategist, you will serve as the dedicated and strategic point of contact for your assigned portfolio of marketplace clients, building strong, long‑term relationships and acting as their trusted advisor. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of their marketplace presence, from developing and implementing tailored growth strategies to optimising product listings for maximum visibility and conversions. This includes managing inventory levels to ensure product availability, overseeing pricing strategies to maximise profitability, and meticulously monitoring performance across all key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Your ultimate goal is to drive client satisfaction by delivering exceptional results and exceeding their business objectives, becoming an indispensable partner in their marketplace success.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement comprehensive marketplace strategies tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client, with a strong emphasis on driving growth and profitability.
* Leverage in‑depth knowledge of each marketplace ecosystem to optimise client performance, including expert management of marketplace SEO, PPC campaigns, product content, listing imagery (in collaboration with the design team), and overall selling strategy.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, providing proactive communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service.
* Conduct detailed analysis of marketplace performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate clear, actionable reports and present findings to clients with strategic recommendations.
* Oversee day‑to‑day management of client marketplace accounts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This includes product listing optimisation, inventory management, pricing strategy, and order fulfilment.
* Identify and implement strategies to expand client reach and grow their business within the marketplace ecosystem, exploring new marketplaces, product lines, or marketing initiatives.

Requirements

* Proven experience in managing and optimising client accounts on online marketplaces with a track record of success.
* Strong expertise in Amazon optimisation, including Amazon SEO, Amazon PPC, product content optimisation, and Seller Central management.
* A client‑centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long‑term, strategic partnerships.
* Strategic thinking and execution skills to develop and implement effective marketplace strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable results.
* Excellent analytical and data‑driven skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and persuasively with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to address challenges effectively and make sound judgments.
* Solid understanding of e‑commerce principles, practices, and technologies.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, and maintaining a high level of efficiency.
* A proactive, results‑oriented approach with a focus on driving client growth and exceeding expectations.

Benefits

* Competitive basic salary with great progression options.
* Unlimited paid holidays.
* Hybrid working.
* Medicash Cash Plan – company‑funded up to £995 per year for everyday healthcare costs.
* Employee Assistance Programme – access to mental health support, financial guidance, and wellbeing resources.

* High‑performance MacBook.
* Monthly perks (Amazon vouchers, Playstation credits, ASOS, H&M, Just Eat).
* Free breakfast, fruit, hot and cold drinks, and protein shakes.
* Friday afternoon drinks.
* Pension scheme.
* Paid volunteering days.
* Cycle‑to‑work scheme.
