About the role
We are looking for a confident adviser and collaborator to join our team as an Assurance Manager based in our Sleaford or Grantham offices. As Assurance Manager, you will support your line manager in providing high-quality business advice and assurance services. Acting as the primary contact for clients, you will manage a full portfolio, using your knowledge and skills to add value to their service. You will be responsible for the overall quality of individual assignments and delivery of a complete product with due regard to budget. This will require completion of audit planning, fieldwork, and collaboration with your team(s). You will work with other members of your service line to scope client requirements and ensure that assignments are carried out in a timely manner and within specified budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Frequent interaction with clients to provide assurance services and advice. Management and oversight of client portfolio, ensuring quality and timely delivery of assignments within budget. Coordinating audit planning, fieldwork and collaboration with wider team. Identifying opportunities for new business and ensuring continuous growth of portfolio.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience with five years in general practice.
* Confident and effective communicator
* Team leadership
* Proactive time, budget and fee management
* Audit planning and execution
* Specialisation in a sector and developed key industry knowledge (optional)
