The Role:
As a Science Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of science subjects. Your enthusiasm for science and your ability to make complex concepts accessible will help spark curiosity and a love for learning in students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning and delivering engaging science lessons and activities.
2. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
3. Use creative approaches to make science fun and relevant to students' lives.
4. Help prepare and maintain science equipment and materials for lessons.
5. Support teachers in monitoring and assessing students' progress.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
7. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
Requirements:
1. A degree in a Science-related field.
2. A genuine passion for science and education.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
4. Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of learners.
5. Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for young learners.
6. Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
7. A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
