Responsibilities
1. Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
2. Conduct assessments to identify and address roofing issues, including leaks, structural weaknesses, and insulation problems.
3. Work with a range of materials, including asphalt shingles, tiles, metal, and flat roof systems.
4. Ensure all work meets industry standards and aligns with safety and building codes.
5. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to deliver project timelines and exceed customer expectations.
6. Provide recommendations to clients regarding maintenance, repairs, or upgrades for roofing systems.
7. Use appropriate tools and equipment for roofing tasks, performing regular maintenance and inspections of tools.
8. Adhere to company standards focused on safety, diversity, and environmental protection at all times.
Qualifications
9. Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within trades, construction, or labour fields.
10. Experience with domestic and commercial roofing projects.
11. Proficiency in working with a range of roofing materials and systems.
12. Strong understanding of construction safety requirements and practices.
13. Physically strong with the ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
14. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
15. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse and inclusive team.

Day-to-Day
17. Conduct inspection and maintenance of roofs, ensuring the proper application of roofing solutions to meet client needs.
18. Safely transport materials, ladders, and tools between job sites.
19. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, removing debris and securing equipment after each day’s work.
20. Discuss progress, challenges, and estimated completion timelines with clients and/or team leads.
21. Remain updated on the latest roofing techniques, materials, and safety regulations through training opportunities.
22. Participate in daily team meetings to review schedules, tasks, and goals.
23. Contribute to creating an inclusive environment by respecting and valuing the perspectives and contributions of all team members.
