The successful candidate will carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice.
Produce results that meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies.
Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
Liaise with customers to ensure efficient work completion, meeting customer requirements while minimizing disruption. Sites include Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, and Universities.
The engineer must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and access to emails. Once a week, they will need to download and send results to the PAT team at Head Office.
Job schedules are arranged by the PAT Team at Head Office; however, the engineer must manage their own time effectively.
Maintain good timekeeping, adhere to start and finish times as directed by the PAT Manager.
Identify and prevent potential customer dissatisfaction issues, such as arriving late. Good route planning is essential.
