The Warehouse and Mobilisation Technician is responsible for processing incoming goods and ensuring that all related documentation and system updates are completed accurately and in line with company procedures. The role supports the efficient supply and dispatch of materials and equipment to project sites worldwide. In addition, the Warehouse Tech is expected to carry out other reasonable tasks as required by management to support the overall objectives of the department and the business.
Remit & Responsibilities:
Stock Control
* Ensure all stock transactions are processed in the system in real time.
* File all stock-related documentation for easy retrieval.
* Accurately locate and relocate goods both physically and within the system.
Stock Receipts
* Inspect delivered goods, record them, and ensure they are placed in the correct storage location.
* Report any discrepancies found during goods receipt. Kitting / Issuing of Materials / Components
* Process stores requisitions for workshop and project needs.
* Provide components and materials in accordance with production and PQT schedules. Communication
* Liaise with other departments regarding stock-related issues as required.
* Provide updates and reports to line managers as needed.
Other Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, load, and unload shipping containers.
* Assist with mobilisation of CRC equipment and dangerous goods.
* Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure smooth operations.
* Provide support as needed to fulfil the duties outlined above.
• Attend training courses as required.
* Adhere to health and safety requirements in line with the company's Health & Safety Manual.
* Promote a positive culture and actively support continuous improvement initiatives. Comply with CRC Evans' policies and procedures.
* Maintain flexibility in your role and suggest improvements to systems and processes. Help maintain and improve the workshop and office facilities.
* Demonstrate a commitment to world-class housekeeping standards.
* Be able to work independently and prioritise tasks when necessary.
Job Specific Education Required:
* GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
Work Experience Required:
* Goods in experience
* Experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.
Skills & Knowledge Required: Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* FLT Counterbalance license (B1) - Desirable
* SAP Knowledge - Desirable
