Senior Full Stack Developer
Fully Remote - Within UK
6 months - Inside IR35
7.5 hours a day
BPSS Required before starting - SC Clearance will be started throughout the project so need to be elidable for both.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join a forward-thinking digital team delivering modern, user-focused services for public sector healthcare. You’ll be working on an established frontend toolkit and design system while contributing to a range of backend services.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing new services primarily in Python, while supporting existing applications written in Java and .NET.
* Working with Oracle SQL PL to maintain and enhance current services.
* Collaborating on infrastructure and DevOps tasks using AWS, Azure, SQL Server, Postgres, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
* Supporting continuous deployment pipelines with automated testing and monitoring.
* Writing software using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices, creating automated tests before coding.
* Contributing to an open working environment with transparent codebases, thorough documentation, design histories, and product roadmaps.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience with Python backend development.
* Solid understanding of frontend frameworks and design systems.
* Proven experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
* Comfortable working in TDD environments and writing automated tests.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
