We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects nationwide. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work across varied projects, liaise directly with clients and sub-contractors, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including sub-contract documentation, warranties, and bonds
* Prepare, submit, and negotiate variations, claims, and interim/final valuations
* Monitor cost and revenue performance, including cost and cashflow forecasts
* Provide commercial and contractual advice internally and to external clients
* Agree sub-contractor accounts and maintain accurate financial records
* Attend project sites nationwide to liaise with clients and sub-contractors
* Support the achievement of project objectives through effective cost control and risk management
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, preferably structural steel
* Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management
* Relevant academic qualification (HND or degree) desirable
* Professional membership of RICS advantageous
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
