Are you confident leading a classroom and managing challenging behaviour effectively? Do you have experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?We are recruiting resilient and compassionate Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools and specialist provisions to across South Wales, from Rhondda Cynon Taf to Monmouthshire and up to the Heads of the Valleys.Long-term, full-time roles are available, along with flexible day-to-day supply opportunities.If you have strong classroom control and a calm, consistent approach to behaviour management, we would love to hear from you.________________________________________The Role Long-term and short-term positions available Opportunities across mainstream secondary schools, specialist settings and PRUs in Cardiff and surrounding areas Competitive rate of pay - £110 - £150 per day Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher Maintain strong classroom control and manage complex behaviours confidently Support pupils with ALN, SEMH, ASD and behavioural needs Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques Follow individual behaviour plans and school policies consistently Provide clear feedback to teaching and pastoral staff________________________________________Aspire People can offer you: Supportive schools and specialist settings that value strong behaviour management skills Access to free CPD e-learning courses with certification, including safeguarding and behaviour management training A dedicated consultant who will support and advise you throughout your placement Generous referral bonus - up to £250 (Teacher £250 / Teaching Assistant £100) when your referral works 20 days for us________________________________________Requirements: Experience working with young people with ALN, SEMH or behavioural needs Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Confident leading pupils aged 11-16 in both mainstream and specialist settings A calm, patient and resilient approach PRU experience is beneficial but not essential* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is requiredAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
