Job Description
The Dartmouth Group is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for its condominium community in Central Massachusetts near the Worcester County line.
Work hours: M-F, 8am - 4:30pm.
On call rotation for emergencies during nights and weekends, once every four weeks, with compensation by 4 hours of paid overtime.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance for two communities within a mile apart.
* Walk and inspect the property.
* Perform grounds keeping, pick up trash, and ensure property is debris free.
* Arrange pool and outdoor furniture.
* Prioritize assigned work orders and follow-up with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding the work performed.
* Minor electrical: change out light bulbs, light fixtures, and light sockets.
* Plumbing: investigate leaks, snake drains, and troubleshoot drainage issues.
* Carpentry: light drywall repair, paint, plaster, minor deck work.
* Maintain pool areas, ensure cleanliness, outdoor furniture is in order, test water.
* Assist and escort maintenance vendors and contractors onsite.
* Upkeep of company truck.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* 3+ years of residential maintenance or handyman experience.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Valid driver's license required.
* Own tools preferred.
* Eye for detail, proactive, and takes initiative.
* Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
* Service-driven and team-oriented with excellent customer service, follow-up, and follow-through skills.
* Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
