Financial Adviser (IFA) Experienced Berwick-upon-Tweed Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week) £50,000 - £90,000 (DOE) We're currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with our client based in Berwick Upon Tweed. We are seeking a motivated professional to join our clients well-established and highly respected wealth management team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver independent, holistic financial advice to a broad and growing client base, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Role Provide independent financial advice across investments, pensions, estate and inheritance tax planning, trusts, and protection (note: this role does not involve mortgage advice). Build strong, trusted relationships with clients supporting their financial planning needs over the long term. Contribute to business growth through client retention and new business development. Ensure all advice and documentation meet FCA requirements and internal quality standards. Collaborate with a team of skilled paraplanners and support staff, who provide dedicated technical and administrative assistance. Keep up to date with regulatory changes and maintain high professional standards through CPD and personal development. The Candidate Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential). Experience in financial advice or paraplanning within a regulated environment. Progress toward Level 6 / Chartered status (desirable). Solid knowledge of FCA regulations (e.g., COBS, Consumer Duty) and compliance standards. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team. Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., Voyant) and CRM systems (e.g., Xplan).
