We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead a new-build highway construction scheme in Plymouth, before progressing on to further projects across the wider South West Highways Civils Framework. With a clear route to Framework Manager, this role offers genuine career progression and long-term stability.
The Role As Project Manager, you will:
Lead the successful delivery of a new highway construction project in Plymouth.
Oversee all project phases – planning, delivery, financial control, health & safety, and stakeholder engagement.
Work closely with the Framework Delivery Team to ensure consistency, quality, and programme certainty across future schemes.
Support continuous improvement and innovation within the framework.
Provide leadership to site teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and collaborative working.About You We’re interested in speaking with Project Managers who have:
Experience in highways, civil engineering, infrastructure, or similar environments.
Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
Excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills.
A proactive, delivery-focused approach with a passion for building strong teams.
