This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an occupational therapist to work in the West Lothian Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service based at St John’s Hospital. This post will be based within a 9-month rotation covering acute admissions, outpatients and a rehabilitation unit. The post holder will work with multi-disciplinary colleagues and will contribute to the assessment and treatment of individuals referred to Occupational Therapy focusing on the occupational, functional and cognitive needs of this specific client group.
Candidates must have a keen interest in Mental Health and evidenced based practice. The service is committed to supervision, staff development and student education. Successful candidates will be operationally and professionally managed with in the Occupational Therapy Service.
