As our business aims to deliver its ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking a SHE Manager to join our Ditton (Cheshire) site. The role involves providing specialist advice and coordinating the safe and efficient operation of the site concerning SHE management and all relevant regulations.

* Strong experience in a similar role within the chemical/manufacturing industry
* Expertise in Occupational Health
* Knowledge of site processes, SHE legislation, and industry standards
* Effective communicator, capable of building strong working relationships and producing high-quality written work
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Proven track record of achieving objectives and targets within project management
* Project management qualification is advantageous
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Ensure compliance with external SHE standards, regulations, and legislation
* Monitor and identify opportunities to improve SHE performance and communicate safety matters effectively
* Maintain comprehensive risk control programmes and procedures to minimise risks and manage emergencies
* Own and develop the SHE management systems
* Set standards for employee competency, foster cooperation on SHE issues, and manage risks
* Communicate and influence at all levels within the site, including external stakeholders like auditors and regulators
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations on SHE topics
