Job title: General Practitioner
Location: Camden Health Improvement Practice
Salary: Up to £112,500 depending on experience
Hours: 2 sessions per week (Tuesdays and Fridays)
Camden Health Improvement Practice provides primary health care for homeless individuals and those with substance misuse, alcohol, and mental health issues. Patients are fully registered and can access the full range of general practice services. The service offers drop‑in and scheduled appointments to meet patients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery.
* Maintain practice quality, participate in clinical governance, and contribute to QOF and other quality frameworks.
* Provide care across modalities: in‑person and video consultation, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, safeguarding lead, medical reports, home visits, surgery meetings, and on‑call (excluding out‑of‑hours).
* Adhere to GMC standards and place patient care first.
* Support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
* Apply knowledge of homelessness policy to improve caring for patients.
Ideal Candidate
* Current registration with GMC and NHS Professional List and actively engaged in clinical work.
* Experienced GP with MRCGP or equivalent qualification.
* Commitment to delivering quality and patient‑focused services.
* Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and coding.
* Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb is preferred.
Package
* Annual salary up to £112,500 depending on experience; £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs.
