Overview
In this role you’ll work the equivalent of 40 hours per week without a set roster. You will receive your roster seven days in advance, while the core hours that you are scheduled to work will be sent three days in advance. You will work within the hours of 0600 and 0200. Your shift patterns will include evenings, early mornings, weekends and bank holidays.

Roadside support is at the very heart of our business, as our Roadside Mechanics deliver an exceptional and much needed service for our members. Our patrols will be out and about dealing face-to-face with our members, handling breakdowns, offering technical support and delivering the same exceptional service that they’ve come to expect from the RAC. Responsibilities
* Deliver roadside support as part of the Roadside Patrol team, including dealing with breakdowns and providing technical support to members.
* Interact face-to-face with members and deliver high-quality service consistent with RAC standards.
* Operate within the stated shift patterns and respond to rosters sent in advance.
Qualifications
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice
* Open to travel and overnight stays if necessary

The role offers a competitive base salary of £48,720.98 with an average OTE ranging from £50,000 to £54,000.
