We’re excited to offer this opportunity within our Admin & Clerical workforce. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi‑Disciplinary Team Coordinator to join Cancer Services at University Hospitals Dorset.
MDT Coordinators play a vital role ensuring patients with suspected cancer are investigated, diagnosed and treated in a timely manner in accordance with National timeframes.
Responsibilities
* Co‑ordination of various meetings and cancer data collection.
* Maintaining an overall view of National Cancer Waiting Time Standards to ensure patients are seen and treated within national targets and that each patient’s pathway is proactively tracked and recorded accurately.
* Prepare and attend MDT meetings and record the outcome of each discussion to track patients through their pathway.
* Prepare and maintain all related documentation for the smooth running of MDT meetings.
* Assist in the site‑specific data collection processes, Cancer Waiting Times, national cancer data sets, and input on various information systems.
* Liaise with departments involved in providing care and core services to ensure that planned patient treatment progresses smoothly and in a timely manner.

Additional Information
UHD is investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. Some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service‑specific questions at interview.
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
