Key Responsibilities
* Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with Works Information and NEC contract requirements
* Issue defect notifications and support the defects correction process
* Review and approve materials prior to procurement and delivery
* Chair quality meetings covering non-conformances and defects
* Liaise with County Council inspectors under S278 agreements
* Observe site works to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and site activity records
* Witness testing and commissioning activities
* Coordinate with project quality teams and management systems
* Produce clear written and verbal reports for project leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience in complex, regulated construction environments
* Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
* Degree and chartered status in engineering or construction (or equivalent)
* Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
* CSCS card and relevant H&S training
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Ability to apply a graded approach to quality
