Administrator South Shields, UK We are a currently recruiting for a growing food manufacturing business based in South Shields, committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers across the UK. As they continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to support our logistics and supply chain operations. Role Overview As the Logistics & Supply Chain Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. You will support the logistics team with administrative tasks, data entry, supplier coordination, and inventory tracking. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the logistics and supply chain team. Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels. Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to coordinate deliveries. Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering processes. Prepare and update reports, spreadsheets, and documentation. Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies and supply issues. Ensure compliance with food safety and traceability standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function. Skills & Experience Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within logistics or supply chain. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of food manufacturing or FMCG industry is a plus. What We Offer A supportive and friendly working environment.
