About The Role
Are you ready to spice up your culinary career? We’re on the lookout for talented Chefs to join our vibrant Butlin’s Buffets team in Skegness! Here, you’ll have the chance to lead and nurture our team in one of our fantastic buffet restaurants, where variety truly is the spice of life.
At Butlin’s, we believe that no seaside trip is complete without delicious food. As a Chef, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. You’ll support the Junior Kitchen Manager and oversee daily operations in your section, ensuring everything runs smoothly and complies with food safety policies.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Leading, training, and mentoring Commis Chefs, providing guidance and support.
This is a 35-hour role, working 5 days over 7, including weekends, with pay received fortnightly. Here’s what your shifts will look like:
* Breakfast Shifts: 4am - 12pm
* Dinner Shifts: 11am - 7:30pm
Flexibility is key to meet the needs of our business and support your team. If you’re over 18 and relocating to the area, live-in accommodation may be available, subject to a DBS check.
About You
We’re searching for individuals with experience at a similar level who are:
* Hardworking and determined: You get things done and seek better ways for the team to deliver our brand standards.
* Energetic and enthusiastic: You bring high spirits and a love for fun to the kitchen.
* Team-oriented: You understand your role and the value you add to the guest experience.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Experience managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards.
