We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team. This small, well-established service provides specialist social care for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions. The team supports adults over 18 in recovery and maintaining independence through person-centred support that promotes choice and control.
As a Mental Health Social Worker, your responsibilities will include assessing, coordinating, and arranging care for service users with mental health issues, including dementia, both in the community and hospital settings. You must be registered with Social Work England or your relevant professional body. Experience in health or social care, along with excellent communication skills, is essential. We value passion, enthusiasm for integrated working, and an understanding of engaging meaningfully with local communities and partners.
Working model: Hybrid (50% remote)
Hours per week: 37
Location: County Hall, Trowbridge
Pay Rate: £38.15 umbrella
