For the successful Landscape Architect, our client is offering:

The role – Landscape Architect
8. Direct project management responsibilities, including contractual, financial, and program management
9. Establish strong working relationships with other members of the teams both in the UK and Ireland Offices
10. Secure and deliver new work by forming and maintaining good relationships with external clients
11. Clear communication, including the ability to write concise technical reports and lead conference calls, meetings, and workshops
12. Produce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings, and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development from strategies to mitigation design
13. Have the technical ability, knowledge, and competence to provide guidance to fellow colleagues
14. Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multidisciplinary design team
15. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK legal and planning system with respect to landscape architecture
16. Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively
17. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
18. Competent in the use of AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Cloud software
19. Experience of some or all of the following would also be very useful: QGIS
20. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
21. A willingness to work in remote locations and, at times, stay away from home during the working week with access to own car to undertake site surveys throughout the UK and in Ireland from time to time
What our client is looking for in a Landscape Architect:
22. Qualification in Landscape Architecture (ESSENTIAL)
23. Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience working in Landscape Design (ESSENTIAL)
24. Able to drive with a full, clean UK license (ESSENTIAL)
25. Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment Experience (ESSENTIAL)
