Health Care Support Worker – Endoscopy Unit

Shift Pattern: Post 1: 37 hours per week / Post 2: 25.9 hours per week. Effective 1 April 2026, full‑time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours. Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our busy Endoscopy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The unit provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic, therapeutic and acute endoscopic procedures for both in‑patients and out‑patients, working closely with Gastroenterology, Colorectal Surgery and Upper GI Surgery to deliver safe, effective, person‑centred care.
* Assist patients throughout their endoscopic journey.
* Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care.
* Participate in audit, risk management and evidence‑based practice to maintain clinical standards.
Desirable experience: Experience within Gastroenterology, Surgery and/or Endoscopy.
