Professional Apprenticeship – Project Coordinator

Role Overview
Laing O'Rourke's manufacturing and modular solutions are transforming traditional construction methodologies into a modern process of component-based assembly, providing product sets including precast concrete building components and modular bridges for the major highways and rail projects. Explore Manufacturing is the most automated concrete products facility in Europe, making our construction process faster, safer and more efficient, improving quality, and reducing waste, and contributing to a sustainable manufacturing-led future for construction.
The Project Coordinator role will provide the development opportunity to experience first‑hand the precast manufacturing process and be responsible for coordinating between design, manufacture and assembly on some of the UK's most exciting major infrastructure and construction projects.

Apprenticeship Level and Standard
Depending on your current grades you may commence on Construction site supervisor level 4 (3 years) then on to Construction site management (degree) (3 years). If your current grades meet the entry level for the Degree apprenticeship you may enrol straight on to that. Alternatively, you can enrol in the Civil Engineer Degree Apprenticeship (level 6 – 5 years).
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have either:
* At least two A levels or equivalent (72 UCAS points), for example BTech or level 3 apprenticeship.
* 4 GCSEs at C/4+ including Maths & English.
We are also looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Strong interpersonal, numeracy and literacy skills.
* Passion for Construction, Engineering & Delivering Projects.
* Eligible to work in the UK – we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role.
