Poundbury Cancer Institute (PCI) was established to improve outcomes for cancer patients by supporting the delivery of personalized medicine and effective treatments tailored to each individual.
Founded from pioneering work started in 2012 in the Department of Histopathology at Dorset County Hospital, in partnership with Roche Tissue Diagnostics and UK NEQAS-IHC&ISH, PCI aims to provide local patients with advanced cancer diagnostic tests, reducing delays and increasing access.
