We are looking for an experienced member of staff to join our hard-working Front of House team. Your primary roles would include setting-up the bar pre-opening, welcoming and seating our lovely guests, taking drinks & food orders, making drinks & passing orders to the kitchen team, and generally waiting on tables to ensure all our guests receive excellent service, taking reservations by phone & generally pitching in wherever needed to ensure Team Lion provides our customers with the best possible experience every visit.
General cellar management will be needed, removing empties, cleaning and stock rotation as needed.
We are looking for a person who would be able to work approximately 30/40 hours per week, there may be potential to increase your hours over coming months if required. You will be working mostly evening & weekend shifts for example 6pm to 12am, however some day time shifts may be needed. Previous bar tending and waiting experience is essential for this role, as you will be joining a hard-working and experienced team, so will be expected to be able to hit the ground running, although necessary training will of course be provided. We are a strong team and are all highly motivated and dedicated and truly enjoy working at the pub, we work hard and play hard, always support each other, and have fun whilst we work, we are a happy and friendly bunch and would love for you to join us
