As the Deputy Head of School, your role will be dynamic, varied and highly rewarding, working closely with employers, apprentices, and curriculum teams. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school, supporting the Head of School and leading the development of a high-quality, innovative curriculum that meets employer needs and delivers excellent outcomes for students.
You will bring strong knowledge and experience in the relevant curriculum area, using your expertise to drive forward a successful and forward-thinking provision. Your industry insight will enhance the student learning experience and ensure learners are equipped to progress into their chosen careers.
Our school offers a wide range of programs, from Level 2 through to higher education and adult learning. Technical qualifications such as T-Levels are delivered in both Computing and Business Studies, with all our courses designed around an employment-focused curriculum. We are committed to aligning our provision with the Local Skills Improvement Plan, ensuring learners develop the skills and work-ready fundamentals required for their next steps.
The ability to support and encourage colleagues is essential, as is a proactive approach to people management. You will act as a key support to the Head of School and be a self-motivated individual eager to grow professionally and take on further responsibility.
