About the Role The successful candidate will teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that help pupils develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include: Teaching Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5) Planning and delivering engaging and practical lessons Supporting pupils in understanding complex physical concepts Monitoring and assessing pupil progress through regular assessments Preparing pupils for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning Supporting intervention programmes to raise attainment Participating in extracurricular STEM activities and science enrichment opportunities Experience and Skills The successful candidate will: Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have strong subject knowledge in Physics Be confident teaching across multiple key stages Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be passionate about science education and pupil achievement Have the ability to motivate pupils of varying abilities Work effectively as part of a collaborative department Why Join This School Outstanding secondary school with strong leadership High-performing Science department Modern laboratories and excellent resources Strong commitment to staff development Positive behaviour culture and motivated pupils Salary Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications.
