1:1 Tutors Urgently Needed – Maths, English & Science – Hampshire, West Sussex, Portsmouth & Surrounding Areas
Are you an experienced educator looking for flexible, rewarding work where you can make a real difference?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with local authorities to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition for pupils who are currently not accessing mainstream education (EOTAS). We are seeking dedicated and patient tutors to deliver personalised support in Maths, English and Science across Hampshire, West Sussex, Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

You’ll be designing and delivering individualised learning programmes, often for secondary-aged pupils, though they may be working below age-related expectations.
This opportunity is perfect for teachers who want more flexibility, control over their workload, and the chance to make a meaningful impact outside the traditional classroom.

Weekly pay
Flexible hours to suit your lifestyle
Local assignments to reduce travel time
Part-time or full-time opportunities
Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
The chance to make a real difference in young people’s lives
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications
A patient, compassionate approach and a commitment to inclusive education
Confidence in planning and delivering sessions in Maths, English and/or Science
Experience supporting SEND or SEMH pupils (desirable but not essential)
The ability to adapt lessons to suit individual needs
Whether you’re retired, working part-time, or simply seeking a flexible alternative to classroom-based roles, we’d love to hear from you.
