Overview
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Administrator to support the Children & Young People\'s Mental Health Team. This post is based at Shawbrook House in Leyland. The closing date is 09 October 2025.
The post is full time (37.5 hours) but we would consider 2 x part time (22.5 hours) working Monday - Friday. This is a permanent post within the team.
This role is an opportunity to join a community-based mental health service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychological therapists, nurses, support time and recovery workers, social workers, occupational therapists and psychiatrists.
Main duties of the job
You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative and to organise your workload effectively. The work is varied, interesting and demanding; candidates should be organised, flexible and reliable and able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients and health care professionals.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
* RSA 3 or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent experience
* Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development
Knowledge
* Awareness of issues in the Mental Health Network
* Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practices
Experience
* Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
* Previous experience of working in a fast-moving, confidential, sensitive, deadline-driven environment
* Experience of supporting and minuting meetings
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
