The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and provide support to the Finance Office in the following areas, preparation of monthly and annual accounts, financial management, project accounting and application of financial controls. To be considered for this opportunity it is essential to be a Qualified Accountant, with at least 2+ years in a similar role. This is initially a maternity cover contract however the business is known for offering contract staff the opportunity to secure a permanent placement.
This is an urgent role for the organisation and interviews are taking place immediately.
About you
7. Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE
8. Experience of management accounts preparation
9. Knowledge of UK GAAP
10. Strong IT skills particularly MS Excel
11. Results driven individual
What you'll do
12. Preparation of monthly and annual accounts, accruals & prepayments, journal entries, month end reconciliations
13. Application of financial controls, adherence to internal control procedures
14. Preparation of VAT returns
15. Reconciliation of service charges and VAT adjustments
16. Analysis and maintenance of expenditure analysis
