Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going 'the extra mile' for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

Are you looking to gain great experience in a satisfying job where you feel supported?
If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you've been looking for!
At our Thurso service, we support a gentleman to live as independently as possible in his own home and are looking for a Support Worker to join our team.
In this team, you'll support this gentlemen to live the best life possible by supporting him to go swimming, go to the gym, visit the cinema, enjoy a wee dance and go on holiday, among his many other hobbies and interests.
In this role, you can also expect to provide support with:
• Personal care
• Our shifts are from 8.This is a preference of the individual we support so the successful candidate must be available to work this shift pattern.
We provide support 7 days a week, so we're ideally looking for someone with some flexibility to work different days. Generally would be 2 on and 4 off on a rolling rota. 48hr shift - with sleepovers and then 4 days off after
A UK driving license is required as the person we support has a mobility vehicle.
The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun!
We like people who are reliable and honest and are able to remain calm under pressure, so they can support people effectively and build fantastic relationships.

Here at Community Integrated Care we aim to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive employer, where all colleagues feel they belong. We want to an organisation that is truly fair and equal to all - where individual diversity is valued, unique characteristics celebrated and everyone feels able to bring their true selves to work.

By encouraging and embracing a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, capabilities and viewpoints, we will build a stronger, richer, more vibrant workforce, which reflects the people we support, and the communities in which we work. It helps us make better decisions, bring fresh ideas and become a true provider and employer of choice.
This publicly sets out the promises we've made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there.
