Locum Pharmacist, Inpatients
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital team through our agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinical pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role with competitive rates and flexible working arrangements.
The Role
You will provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services across a variety of inpatient wards, supporting multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medicines management.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinical screening of inpatient prescriptions
* Medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge
* Supporting ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
* Providing clinical advice to medical and nursing staff
* Ensuring safe and effective use of medicines
* Supporting discharge planning and patient counselling
Requirements
* Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Previous NHS hospital ward experience essential
* Strong clinical and communication skills
* Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
* Electronic prescribing system experience desirable
