GP Work/Life balance important? We think so!
We are a Health Centre based Practice in Coatbridge - a convenient central location, with 7 GP Partners and 5 Salaried GPs. This is a new post and is in addition to the 5 salaried GPs we currently have within the Practice. We are a friendly, and supportive team of GPs with a large thriving practice of approx 23,000 patients. We have a wide skill mix of Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Nurses. We are highly innovative and optimistic about meeting the challenges presented to General Practice over the coming years. The role is protected in that there is no on-call commitment, repeat prescriptions nor medical reports. There is good support among the team of GPs, regular GP meetings and educational opportunities within the practice to help towards appraisal requirements.
We are also a very sociable practice, and have regular social events. The GPs also tend to meet daily at lunchtime when signing scripts and to discuss patients etc. We also have our regular breakfast roll on a Friday morning!
We offer a salary of £11000 per session, per annum, 6 Weeks Annual Leave, Defence Union Fees Paid and Golden Hello Available.
