Salary: Above National Apprenticeship Wage

Hours of Work:


* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
* Some flexibility maybe required with shift rotation

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Improvement Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food manufacturing industry while contributing to the enhancement of our operational processes.

Throughout your programme, you'll work towards completing a variety of tasks and taking ownership for a number of areas including:

* Assisting in identifying areas for improvement within the manufacturing processes.
* Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collect and analyze data to monitor the effectiveness of improvement projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and optimize workflows.
* Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Document and report progress on improvement projects.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

All of this may sound a little daunting but full training and support will be provided.

Who We're Looking For:

You don't need experience-just the right attitude and the drive to learn!

* Is organised and good at meeting deadlines.
* Has an eye for detail and likes to get things right.
* Feels comfortable speaking up and sharing ideas.

The Ideal Candidate - Skills/Experiences:

* A minimum of 5 GCSEs, with a Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English
* No formal experience is required as full training will be given. However, we are looking for an individual who is keen to learn, can manage their time well, and is looking to continually develop their skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction.
* Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards.
* Experience using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, to a competent level.
