About the Role

The Primary Manager (GB) role is accountable and responsible for ensuring our IOI Primary network operates safely, efficiently and effectively, with a close eye on long term sustainability. Working closely with the Director of Logistics and in partnership with the Primary Manager (GB), Manufacturing colleagues, Commercial stakeholders and 3PL suppliers this role will continue to evolve a distribution model that can meet business requirements whilst delivering excellence in service. As well as meeting external customers needs there will be the ongoing requirement to continue to develop the replenishment model (and back) of goods moved internally to our own network of secondary depots. A very collaborative relationship with Primary Manager (GB) will be essential to ensure alignment on the two way cross water movements.

This role will be responsible for all Primary Logistics across ROI, with a watching/supporting role on TNI and cross border.

Regular travel will be required to our Clonmel site, however this role can be based anywhere in Island of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Health and Safety:

* Ensure all 3PL’s ongoing share our culture of safety first
* Work with 3PL’s and manufacturing to ensure Primary fully comply with local, national, and company health and safety regulations, minimising risks and ensuring a safe working environment for employees and 3PL colleagues
* Build suitable targets and audit measures to manage 3PL good compliance to our rules
* Act swiftly to address any health and safety concerns or incidents, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken
* Ensure our 3PL’s are not bringing unsafe practices to any sites or manufacturing facilities or depot network

People:

* Working in close collaboration with Clonmel site, build relationships that promote great working practices
* Create a culture of continuous improvement and a desire not to accept status quo

Service to customers:

* Oversee day-to-day logistics operations across the IOI Primary logistics network – ensure suitable measurement and reporting against OT and IF
* Ensure the efficient routing and scheduling of deliveries and internal movements across the IOI network to optimise resources and meet service level agreements.
* Monitor and evolve Primary logistics IOI processes and systems to achieve cost efficiencies and operational improvements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure service, at all times, is appropriate

Performance Management:

* Ensure all team and 3PL partners have clear operational KPIs, with a primary focus of on time (OT) and in full (IF), and operational efficiency (logistics and warehousing)
* Set performance goals for Clonmel site Primary Warehousing and Logistics
* Drive a results culture within team, but manage the balance in safety, cost, service
* Manage the Primary IOI logistics budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high service levels.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance:

* Ensure all Primary logistics activities and 3PL’s in IOI comply with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements

About You

* Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline
* Proven track record of achievement in a Logistics role, dealing with 3PL
* Experience of the IOI drinks industry is a preference
* Knowledge of manufacturing planning
* Strong knowledge of the Supply Chain process
* Demonstrable ability to deliver change ongoing
* Great focus on commerciality and attention to detail
* The ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, and to make things happen
* Good people development skills
* Driven self-starter, comfortable with taking accountability
