We provide leading edge bespoke joinery to various commercial sectors and high-end residential markets. The role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Designer to join our team on a temporary basis with the possibility of being offered a permanent position. Responsibilities As a CAD Designer you will be required to: * Co-ordinate design concepts with designers, architects, sub-contractors and other relevant personnel * Produce drawings to the appropriate level of detail (including specialist materials) for construction * Ensure drawings produced are cost efficient * Convert architectural drawings into manufacturing drawings for approval * Co-ordinate ordering of specialist materials with procurement i.e. metalwork and ironmongery * Able to produce CNC drawings for manufacture or a knowledge of CNC Role requirements You must have a good all round knowledge of AutoCAD and have a sound joinery background. The role requires the ability to convert client drawings/requirements into joinery manufacture detail. * Practical joinery knowledge for a minimum of 4 years * AutoCAD (or equivalent) and/or Solidworks * Knowledge of pre-assembly techniques * Team player * Good written and verbal communication skills * Time Management skills * Commercial awareness Benefits * Bonus scheme with company performance (with tax free up to certain limits) * On site free parking * Early finish on a Friday * No weekend or bank holiday working * Christmas shut down Salary negotiable depending on experience
