As a Care Assistant we ask you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. We would love to hear from you if you have previously worked as a Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker or Community Support Worker, and we also welcome applicants who do not have previous experience but have a passion for care.
This position is part time working 22 hours per week.

About You
* Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate. All training is provided, so these are desirable not essential.
* Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of leading a team.
* A committed and organised approach.
* A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexible to work shifts.
Other Duties
* Attend Staff Meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home and participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
* Ensure they fully understand safeguarding responsibilities, develop understanding and skills to reduce risk of abuse or neglect, and ensure adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Ensure safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered to at all time.
* Provide evidence of any untaken training.
* Comply with fire procedures, health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
* Complete all training as determined by the home.
