The role requires an enthusiastic, resourceful and well-organised professional who has good classroom management skills. The ideal candidate will be a History graduate with experience teaching History at secondary level. They will be able to challenge and develop pupils’ wider skills in lessons and will be committed to the school’s core values and vision, with a desire to improve pupil achievement at all levels. Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality History lessons to secondary students.
* Provide challenge and opportunities for pupils to develop wider skills in lessons.
* Maintain effective classroom management and organise resources to support learning.
* Support safeguarding and the welfare of pupils and contribute to a safe school environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* History graduate with experience of teaching History at secondary level.
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or NQT status (Applications invited from both qualified teachers and NQTs).
* Commitment to core values and visions of the school and a desire to improve pupil achievement at all levels.
