Protocol Education is working with primary schools across South Gloucestershire to recruit 1:1 Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
These roles involve providing tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage with learning, develop positive relationships, and thrive in the classroom.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
* Supporting learning both in and out of the classroom
* Implementing positive behaviour strategies
* Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
* Working closely with teachers, SENDCOs and wider school staff
* Promoting a safe, consistent and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for candidates who:
* Have experience working with children or young people
* Are calm, patient and resilient
* Can establish professional boundaries while building rapport
* Have experience in education, youth work, coaching, mentoring or care settings
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, ADHD or autism is desirable but not essential.
