Your Role: You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive monitoring and technical support across the client's infrastructure, ensuring efficient handling of incidents and service requests. This includes performing both proactive and reactive server administration to maintain system stability and performance. Additionally, you will plan, coordinate, and implement infrastructure changes in line with client expectations and in accordance with established ITIL change management processes. Working closely with stakeholders, you will assess user requirements and translate them into accurate, cost-effective technical specifications that support operational objectives. You will also install, configure, and thoroughly test operating systems and associated software in collaboration with application providers, ensuring smooth integration and compliance with organisational standards. Essential Experience: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows Server 2019, 2016, 2012, and 2008. Experience with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. Proficient in managing and administering Active Directory and Identity Manager. Skilled in using systems monitoring and management tools, including SCOM and SCCM. Knowledgeable in enterprise antivirus solutions, specifically McAfee. Experience in software licence management and compliance processes. Broad understanding of infrastructure support services and associated operational practices. Familiar with algorithms, methodologies, and best practices for designing, building, and configuring systems and networks. Awareness of leading hardware platforms, including IBM, HP, Dell, and blade server technologies. Demonstrates strong system management capabilities with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
